Pastor Charles Inman
Senior Pastor
Pastor Charles Inman was born in Tampa, Florida, and has spent most of his life serving and ministering throughout the Tampa Bay area, except for his time serving in the United States Army. He graduated from Jefferson High School and earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Applied Sociology from the University of Tampa. He later earned a Master of Arts in Biblical Studies from Evangelical University and Seminary in Plant City, Florida.

Pastor Charles served as a missionary to Haiti for eight years, traveling throughout the country and leading mission teams. He has served the church in a variety of pastoral roles, including Men’s Pastor, Associate Pastor, Interim Pastor, and Senior Pastor.
Pastor Charles and his wife, Cynthia, have been married since 2000. Together, they have devoted their lives to serving Christ and sharing His love with others

Christy Davidson
Children’s Ministry Director
Christy lives in South Tampa with her husband of twenty-five years, Joseph, and their two children, Ryan and Joshua. She accepted Jesus Christ as her personal Lord and Savior at the age of eleven, beginning a lifelong journey of faith and service.
Christy currently serves as a school nurse at a South Tampa middle school and is beginning her eighth year in that role. Her calling to children’s ministry began in 2014, when she began serving the children and families of South Tampa at Manhattan Baptist Church. She faithfully served in that ministry until 2025.
In January 2026, Christy became part of the Sunlake Baptist Church family and was asked to re-establish the church’s children’s ministry. Her desire is to create a ministry where children are genuinely loved, faithfully taught God’s Word, encouraged to know Jesus personally, and given opportunities to grow in their faith.
Christy graduated from Kidmin Academy in 2018, where she received training in the foundations of leading an effective children’s ministry. Desiring to continue growing in her understanding of Scripture and deepen her knowledge of God’s Word, she enrolled at Andersonville Theological Seminary and earned an Associate degree in Biblical Exposition in 2025. She is continuing her studies in Biblical Exposition with the goal of earning her doctorate.

“Helping children know Jesus, grow in God’s Word, and discover that they are loved, chosen, and called by God.”

America Holmes
Administration/Treasurer
I am a Tampa native who grew up in Ybor City and am a retired Administrative Assistant. For more than 12 years, I have had the privilege of serving Sunlake Baptist Church as Treasurer, caring for the church’s finances and assisting with various other responsibilities. Serving the Lord in this way has been deeply fulfilling, and I am truly grateful for the opportunity to use my time and talents in service to Him.
My husband, Jim, and I have been part of the Sunlake Baptist Church family for approximately 30 years, and we are blessed to continue serving God and our church family wherever we are needed. We will soon celebrate 54 years of marriage. Jim is retired from the United States Air Force, and together we have three sons and several grandchildren who are a great blessing to our family.
“I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.”

Aaron Dean
Technology Manager
I began attending Sunlake Baptist Church in December 2018. Although I had believed in Christ throughout my life, it was on Thanksgiving 2018 that I truly surrendered my life to Jesus Christ as my Lord and Savior. That night, I gave my life to Christ, and from that moment forward, my faith became the foundation of my life.
I quickly found my home at Sunlake Baptist Church, where I discovered a church family that welcomed me, encouraged me, and truly treated me as family. I have been blessed to be a part of the Sunlake family ever since.
During the COVID-19 pandemic in 2020, I saw an opportunity to help keep our church connected when many of our members could no longer attend worship in person. Using my phone, I introduced Facebook Live to Sunlake Baptist Church so that members could continue worshiping with us and receiving the Word of God from home. What began as a simple way to stay connected eventually grew into a more developed and professional production ministry.
Today, as Technology Manager, I oversee the church’s technology and audio/visual needs, including our website, Facebook presence, livestreaming, and audio/visual equipment. My desire is to use technology as a tool for ministry, helping Sunlake Baptist Church share the Gospel, stay connected with our congregation, and create an environment where people can worship and hear God’s Word.
I am the proud father of two sons. Outside of my work with technology, I love to cook and especially enjoy preparing food and feeding others. To me, sharing a meal is another way to show love, fellowship, and hospitality. There is something special about bringing people together around a table.
I am grateful for the opportunity to serve the Lord through Sunlake Baptist Church. It is a blessing to use the gifts God has given me to serve my church family and play a small part in helping Sunlake fulfill its mission of reaching people with the love of Christ.
“As each one has received a gift, minister it to one another, as good stewards of the manifold grace of God.”
